Equipment
FLIS (Flight Laboratory Imaging Systems) is equipped with a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft, complete with hyperspectral sensors and a laser scanner for detailed analysis and 3D terrain modelling. The aircraft allows the deployment of a wide range of sensors for different types of imaging.
The UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) uses the DJI Matrice 600 Pro hexacopter, equipped with a hyperspectral scanner and thermal camera for applications ranging from monitoring to agriculture. The system is designed for accurate and stable sensing.
Each platform is specifically tailored for a selection of sensors, allowing them to be used for a wide range of scientific and application purposes.
